Home Sweet Home

  1. Nice to see your "habitat". You are very close to the water by the looks of it. That must be for hurricanes across the window? Do you have any pics of the iguana?

  2. The iguana? Jesus, I must have 10 of them. They have no redeeming qualities. Dogs get sick from them. They shit all over. And they eat the foliage that was intended to brighten the landscape. My neighbor says her pellet gun only excites them (like foreplay). She didn't say that, but she said it was ineffective. I'll get a picture, but I'm going to draw glasses and a mustache on the varmint.

  3. Very nice photos.

If I stare hard enough, I can either see your reflection in the glass door...or perhaps Hemingway's ghost....

  4. No redeeming qualities? Would they perhaps eat the geckos that you also despise or are they only vegetarian? And if you use words like foreplay on here, this may turn in to a different kind of blog.

  5. Dave, I've been seen as a ghost before. One ex-wife was telling folks I was dead. When I ran into her brother a few years after we split...well you know what he looked like he saw. Terri, I should have left it at "only excites them." Forget the methaphor. Brief is better (just like foreplay). The iguanas are exclusively plant eaters which is why I'm not. Makes my skin rough and makes it turn colors.

  6. Mike, I know you know I was only kidding you, spicy dialog will actually get you more hits on a search engine and increase your audience! At least I knew what it meant, I had to look up callipygian, my new favorite word btw. I do like the nature reports, though, if you see more pelicans, take some photos of them, too. They are so cool.
